Home 11-4-24

We are home. I suspect everyone fell rapidly asleep Monday night since we had last been in bed before our farewell Sunday sunrise safari on the Tarangire (equivalent time 9 p.m CT Saturday night). Thank you for all your prayers for our safe and fulfilling travel. We have arrived home changed people, deeply touched and enriched.  It makes reentry hard, because home looks the same and our home world kept spinning while we were experiencing a different life.    We became a team... danced and sang...laughed a lot...cried some...listened...asked a lot of questions... discussed perplexing issues...brainstormed solutions...made new friends...reunited with old friends...saw God in so many hands and faces. This experience will spill over into our lives in many ways, so stay tuned.  I am grateful for each of the diverse and very talented people who agreed to come on this trip and trusted in the process, to give of themselves and just be.   With overwhelming gratitude to t...

 Our group is processing all that we have learned.  Our heads and hearts are full and it will take time to unpack it all.  At this time there are no words. We are preparing for re-entry and will be leaving Tanzania on Sunday morning.     On behalf of the group, Kris Linner
